Now introducing: Antimicrobial protection for the Mint Mattress

With 2020 comes a renewed appreciation for cleanliness—from hand sanitizer to figuring out how to properly clean our bedding. That is exactly why we are proud to announce antimicrobial protection for our Mint Mattress. Together with our parent company Serta Simmons Bedding, Tuft & Needle is partnering with Switzerland’s HeiQ Group for exclusive access to their NPJ03 antimicrobial protection for mattresses in the United States.

As of today, all of our Mint Mattresses will be made with this antimicrobial protection, which uses microsilver and vesicle technologies to attract harmful bacteria, then breaks down the bacteria to further prevent them from making a home inside your mattress. We’ve decided to include this feature in our Mint Mattress, a fan and team favorite, at no additional cost to the customer.

So, how exactly does this help you? Well, the hope is to help you sleep at night knowing your bed is fighting for you. This protection, which is embedded in the mattress cover fabric, eliminates harmful bacteria that can cause odor and affect the lifespan of your mattress.
